Pictures of the improvement process
taken in our shop

1 – A close-up of lacquer cracks that had developed since the piano was moved from the Midwest.

2 – We stripped all panels and the cabinet, revealing the original grain patterns.

3 – The glue joints had come loose in the corners of the bench, requiring re-gluing and clamping.

4 - After sanding, we applied sealer to all veneered surfaces.

5 – Parts of the piano were stored on our parts rack until dry.

6 We reasembled the piano, conducted a complete regulation, and tuned it.
