56" Ellington Upright #42290

Manufactured in 1916. Was painted "off white" about 10 years ago. Being reconditioned, regulated, tuned by Ray's Piano Service. Available March, 2008.


IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:

Recondition Action—Clean, reshape hammers, tighten all screws, replace defective parts.

Complete Regulation—Make adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new: key height, key leveling, hammer blow distance, lost motion, letoff,  keydip, sustain, spoons. Tune to A-440

TERMS:

10% deposit will hold piano till delivery (up to 30 days). If you pick up, balance at pick-up. If we deliver, balance (including cost of delivery) at delivery.

1 – Comes with a large "duet-size" school piano bench.

2 – New plastic keytops were installed during a previous restoration.


3 – Strings, pins, soundboard and bridges are in excellent shape. Our reconditioning work will return the action to excellent working order. Piano has deep, rich tone, typical of vintage uprights.

 

4 – We replaced all bridle tapes and conducted a complete regulation--hammer blow distance, capstans, key height & leveling, letoff, dip, spoons.

5 – We tuned the piano to A440.


6 – We reconditioned the sustain mechanism, installing replacing loose screws with larger size, installing felt bushings, and adjusting as needed.

 

 

7 We installed new buttons and knobs. Ready for delivery!
