Restored by Ray’s Piano Service, Winter 2002-2003
We purchased this piano for $500, our budget for
improvements was $1000, and our sale price was $1,650 including
delivery, after-delivery tuning, and 1-year guarantee on
improvements made by Ray's Piano Service. IMPROVEMENTS
INCLUDED:
Recondition Action—Clean,
reshape hammers, tighten all screws, replace defective
parts.
Complete Regulation—Make
adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new: key height, key
leveling, hammer blow distance, lost motion, letoff, keydip,
sustain, spoons. Tune to A-440
Refinish--Dismantle cabinet. Repair cabinet
where needed. Strip and sand. Apply black stain and sealer. Apply
black lacquer. Apply clear lacquer. Install new rubber buttons,
nameboard felt, and fallboard decal. Reassemble. SCHEDULE:
