40" Shoninger Console #37671

Black lacquer cabinet. Built in 1960. Restored by Ray’s Piano Service, Winter 2002-2003

We purchased this piano for $500, our budget for improvements was $1000, and our sale price was $1,650 including delivery, after-delivery tuning, and 1-year guarantee on improvements made by Ray's Piano Service.
IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED:

Recondition Action—Clean, reshape hammers, tighten all screws, replace defective parts.

Complete Regulation—Make adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new: key height, key leveling, hammer blow distance, lost motion, letoff,  keydip, sustain, spoons. Tune to A-440

Refinish--Dismantle cabinet. Repair cabinet where needed. Strip and sand. Apply black stain and sealer. Apply black lacquer. Apply clear lacquer. Install new rubber buttons, nameboard felt, and fallboard decal. Reassemble.
