Beautiful black polish cabinet, with matching bench. Manufactured by Silbermann Piano Company in China. We were recently introduced to this Chinese piano manufacturer by our Canadian distributor, who reported that this piano has been receiving high praise at the 2005 NAMM and MIAC music shows. The Silbermann factory won the Shanghai Musikmesse show award for best pianos in 2005. The factory is comparatively small, making about 1,000 pianos per year. Their chief engineer, who previously worked for Pramberger and Yamaha Pianos, personally inspects every piano before shipping. Also each piano is retained at the factory for 30 days for a final check and tuning prior to shipping. The very reasonable price of this model reflects savings we can pass on to you by operating with a low-cost overhead and it also reflects the distributor's interest in increasing the popularity of this brand-name in the United States. This piano is very heavy for its size due to the large posts in its frame and its full-size cast iron plate, resulting in a  deep, rich musical tone.

1 – The legs are solidly attached to an extension from the main frame of the piano. Two decorative brass plates add a touch of beauty.

2 – The fallboard decal proudly announces the brand of this beautiful people. Silberman is a German brand of pianos with a long distinguished history since the mid-18th century.

3 – There is a beautiful brass logo on the keyslip at the front of the piano.

4 – The rear frame of the piano exemplifies its solid construction.

5 – The model number and serial number are prominently displayed on the plate inside the piano.

6 – The Silberman decal displayed on the plate proudly announces the name's origins in 1730.

7 – The action parts were made in Japan and Germany, and assembled with technology originating in Japan and Germany.

8 – The harp and sound board extend to the very bottom of the instrument--a large sound board and long strings contribute to the piano's deep, rich musical tone.
