51" P. S. Wick Upright #31126

Walnut veneer cabinet. Built in 1921. Reconditioned and Refinished by Ray’s Piano Service, Summer 2002


IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:

Recondition Action—Clean, reshape hammers, tighten all screws, replace defective parts. Install new bass strings.

Complete Regulation—Make adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new: key height, key leveling, hammer blow distance, lost motion, letoff,  keydip, sustain, spoons. Tune to A-440

Refinish--Dismantle cabinet. Repair cabinet where needed. Strip and sand. Apply sealer. Apply lacquer. Install new rubber buttons, nameboard felt, and fallboard decal. Reassemble.
