6'3" Baldwin Grand Model L
6'3" Baldwin Grand Model L #228848 (1979)
A solid, reliable, mid-size piano, ideal for home or music studio. Current owner is a music teacher who needs to downsize for health reasons. This piano has been regularly serviced and tuned since 1998 by Ray Klapwyk, RPT. In 1999 we reconditioned the action (tightened screws, reshaped hammers, replaced defective parts), and conducted a complete regulation using new underkey punchings. Sold on 4/29/11 to the family of a serious music student in Mount Vernon, WA. Prior to delivery, we will install new hammers and shanks, conduct a complete regulation, and tune.
6/17/11--After installing the new hammers and shanks, we "traveled" the hammers to ensure that they will strike the strings squarely.
