57" Farrand Upright #20008
Built in 1916 by the Farrand Piano Company of Holland, MI. Action and Harp in original condition. Has great potential for reconditioning/rebuilding/refinishing.
1/26/12 - SOLD, DELIVERED TO BELLINGHAM, WA
EVALUATION REPORT:
I - Soundboard, Bridges, Strings, Pins, Pinblock—Soundboard & Bridges in good condition. Pins are tight, will hold pitch. Strings in good condition: has a deep, rich tone.
II - Action, Back Action & Dampers, Keys & Keyframe, Regulation, Tuning--Hammers worn. Regulation poor. Dampers OK. Butt leather and backchecks OK. Wippens OK.
III - Cabinet, Pedal Mechanisms, Casters, Accessories--Ivory keytops missing. Casters OK. Bench OK.

IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED:
II - Reshape hammers, tighten screws, install new bridle tapes, complete regulation using new underkey punchings, tune.
III - Recondition pedal mechanisms, install new keytops, strip and complete refinishing, replace fallboard decal.
