45" Harrison Upright #124573
Built in 1929 by W.W. Kimball, Chicago. A solid small upright when new, In good condition considering its age--a good candidate for restoration. Restored by Ray's Piano Service in 2010 for the owner in Yakima, WA.
IMPROVEMENTS:
Restring & Repin—Dismantle, destring, remove plate, repair & refinish board & bridges, replace plate, completely restring & repin.
Recondition action & pedals—Install new hammers & bridle tapes, tighten all screws, replace defective parts. Install new plastic keytops. Recondition pedal mechanisms.
Complete Regulation—All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new, install new underkey punchings, tune to A-440.
Case work, Refinishing—Strip all exterior wood surfaces. Sand & repair as necessary. Apply grain filler, walnut stain, sealer, satin lacquer. Clean & polish all metal parts. Re-assemble.
