56 1/2" Behning & Sons Upright #30439
Mahogany veneer cabinet refinished with semi-gloss lacquer by seller. Manufactured in 1901. Reconditioned by seller with assistance from Ray's Piano Service in 2009. Sold on consignment to buyer in Clacier Springs, WA.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Rebuild—Dismantle. Remove pins and strings. Repair and refinish soundboard and bridges. Restring & Repin.
Recondition action—
Tighten all action screws. Install new bridle tapes, hammers, damper felts.
Complete Regulation—
All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new, tune to A-440, tune.
Refinish—
Strip, repair, sand, refinish all wood surfaces semi-gloss lacquer. Reassemble.
50" Behning & Sons Upright #31734
Mahogany cabinet. Built in 1903. Reconditioned and refinished by Ray’s Piano Service, Winter 2002-2003. Sold to buyer in Tacoma, WA.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Recondition—Clean, install new hammers, install new bridle tapes, install new damper pads, tighten screws, replace additional defective parts, rebush keys as needed.
Complete Regulation—
All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new, tune to A-440
Refinish Cabinet—
Repair veneer as needed. Strip and sand cabinet and all panels. Apply stain and lacquer.  Install new rubber buttons. Clean and polish all metal parts. Reassemble.
