52" Cable Nelson Upright #113797
Burl Walnut Cabinet. Built in 1919 by the Cable Nelson Piano Company, Chicago. Reconditioned and Refinished by Ray’s Piano Service in 2004.
IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Recondition action—Clean, install new hammers and bridle tapes, tighten screws, replace defective parts. Install new pedals.
Complete Regulation—All adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new. Install new underkey punchings. Tune to A-440.
Refinish Cabinet—Clean. Tighten cabinet screws. Repair cabinet as needed. Install new rubber buttons.
Install New Keytops--Remove set of ivories, install new plastic keytops, regulate as needed.
Bench--We refinished a new walnut bench to match this piano.

IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED:
Recondition Action—Clean, reshape hammers, tighten all screws, replace defective parts.
Complete Regulation—Make adjustments to ensure that piano plays like new: key height, key leveling, hammer blow distance, lost motion, letoff,  keydip, sustain, dampers. Tune to A-440
Refinish--Dismantle cabinet. Repair cabinet where needed. Strip and sand. Apply mahogany stain and sealer. Apply clear lacquer. Install new rubber buttons, nameboard felt, and fallboard decal. Reassemble.
