To whom it may concern:

I recently had Ray complete the first phase of restoration on my late Grandmothers’ Piano. This Piano has been in the Family since my Great Grandmother purchased it back around the turn of the 19th/20th century. It had all original parts except the keys tops that had been replaced around the depression.

The work Ray completed on the Piano included a basic reconditioning: replacing the bridle tapes, new hammers, damper pads, butts, back-check leather, wippen springs and tightening screws and damper springs. He also tuned the piano to the best sound I have ever heard. The work Ray did was absolutely astonishing. I personally would not recommend anyone but Ray. He has taken a treasure that I hold dear to my heart and restored a piece of Family and American history. I have no doubt that with the work he has already completed and will complete in the near future will allow me to pass this family heirloom along.

The best part was a week after the first phase was completed I thought of making shadow boxes for all my Family. I called Ray up and he still had all the original hammers. I was able to make these wonderful memorial shadow boxes and pass along a piece of my Grandmothers piano to all those who loved to hear her play. Thank you Ray for a job well done!
